My Voice Experience

Vocal talent is derived from the totality of our life experience coupled with our training. If you've never sought to inspire, deride, excite, console, inform, then how do you comprehend the subtle differences in the performance. My life experience brings great perspective on many emotional levels. I have done work on stage, in radio, and in the studio.

My Training

My training includes voice training in opera, vocal articulation and dialects. I studied at East Carolina University in the Professional Actors Training Program and the Musical Theater Program. I also studied and received a BS in Communication at East Carolina University including work in copywriting and production. I worked at a local radio station and did voice over work for local groups during this time. I also was a member of a local band as leader singer and a local acapella group as the bass singer. I currently do voice over work for local performing arts groups.

I own a small company in the construction industry and am very familiar with most products and procedures. I have also worked in the corporate environment and understand the need for clear concise communication of concepts and ideas that can presented and understood by a broad range of people.
