Voice Description

I have a versatile deep voice that can be used for everything from a traditional trailer style read to an everyday man on the street. My voice can be warm and friendly or rough and tough depending on the needs. I can give you the "voice-over" guy and also be very natural and conversational. I take direction well and am capable of delivering a wide range of reads on the same copy. Also can do a wide range of characters.

I have done a wide array of voice over work from Cable television shows to National Advertising Campaigns to Cable Promotions to Documentary narration. My credits include:

Dream House- DIY Network- Currently the voice for new episodes of this cable television show now in post-production

Mountain Dew Livewire- Provided character work for national ad campagin

Land of the the Brave- Did narration for documentary on the plight of the Western Shoshone Indians.

MTV Movie Awards- Did a "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" style read on national promotions for this yearly broadcast event.

My Training

Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

My Studio Equipment

For home recording, I am only using a USB microphone attached to my laptop. This is how I record my demos. However for professional recording sessions I use top-notch commercial recording facilities in Manhattan including Nutmeg Audio Post, Final Cut New York and Refinery NYC.

Additional Skills

I work as film and video editor on very high end projects from national ad campaigns to award winning music videos to feature films. I know what quality is and I will never deliver anything less than superb. I have seen a number of my temp tracks get me jobs on major jobs and so I thought I might as well try for more work here. I absolutely love doing voice over and would love to help you on your next project.
