Voice Description

Though most comfortable in my natural sardonic cadence, I also work well within a number of crisp styles, including the measured patter of an NPR newscaster, the staccato of an old-timey announcer and the exaggerated emphasis of cartoon emotion.

My Voice Experience

My voice work includes storytelling for an animated film by Swedish recording artist Psilodump (2008), narration in the style of an over-the-top 1930s announcer on the internet-radio-comedy "The Mangler" (2004), and captain's-logging as a stranded space explorer on an album by my own group Zelda and the Unibrows (2003), for whom I also host a podcast.

I'm also a co-founder of improv comedy troupe Mr. Rogers' Sweatshop (1998-2000) and have guest-hosted on Michigan radio stations WQBR, WPHS, and WXOU.
