Voice Description

My accent has long been confused with an American accent (except by Americans) but is actually a mix between Irish (northern) and the accents I heard growing up in Zambia which does include American. I have always enjoyed manipulating my voice and have used it to fool people in prank calls, convincing them I was someone else. Although I don't see this as me being good at it, more people being easily fooled. :)
I have done stage plays and can sing relatively well. (I have a powerful pair of lungs let's say) I would love to do voice overs as I believe my voice can bring many characters to life.
Accents are usually not a problem. With a bit of preperation I can usually nail accents quite well.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

British gentalman, British commoner, British gangster, American standard (forgive the label) Jamaican, Irish both north and south (north very well) and I'm currently trying to get to grips with Newcastle accent and Australian.
I also could carry off scripted japanese with good pronounciation and delivery.

My Voice Experience

I have not done any voice overs before but i get told time and time again that my impressions and natural voice would suit this field so I would very much like to try my hand. :)

My Training

I am very much self trained. I started fooling around with ccents from a young age and have a wacky disposition. Often referred to as crazy. In a nice way.
I have acted in the stage play of One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest as Ade Warren and been on BBC's Panorama in a reenactment of an IRA shooting.
I wanted to try acting seriously but my love for music took first place so i focused on that.
I am confident enough in my abilities to say I could hold against some of the best voice actors out there. But trust me,i am far from vain. I believe in myself but humble myself before others.

My Studio Equipment

I use Cubase SX3 and a load of pug ins with access to much more from friends in a similar field. I have a Shure SM58 Mic, my own guitar and Line6 Spider3 amplifier combined with Drumkit from hell 2 program which allows me to make songs very easily not to mention a host of willing musicians to play just about any instrument you can think of.
