Voice Description

I have a medium, guy next door voice that I've used in projects other than my own.

While I don't do impersonations, I'm also a character voice actor that has done a lot of witty comedies, or depressing dramas.

I've been told that the timing in my comedy has been great in the several different voices I've used.

My voice can range between 18-39.

I can go mellow and soothing, or conversational.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can do a light or heavy scratchy New York accent, a California surfer accent, a Mexican-American accent (both urban and suburban), and Mexican-born speaking English accent, as well as the standard American accent. I've voiced as many as seven different characters in a single scene (Comedy), most of the characters were teenagers.

My Voice Experience

Most of my work until recently has been amateur work voice acting in animated movies made from pre-rendered graphics called "Machinima." I make my own machinima and voice act in many other peoples' projects as well. From comedy, to drama, I've done a lot of voice acting.

I've recently completed voice acting and narrating commercials for the books "Snappy Sayings: Wit and Wisdom from the World's Greatest Minds", and "18: The Poetry of John G. Hunter III."

I've also voice acted in the winning film in the machinima category for the 2009 48 Hour Film Project (I also wrote and directed it).

My Training

The only education I have is being raised by a radio personality. My father was a radio personality for a music radio station every Sunday, and I would go with him nearly every week. He would sometimes let me voice introductions or promos. The radio sation, now gone, was called KBRG, a Spanish music radio station.

My Studio Equipment

I use a Samson G Track Condenser Microphone for my voice recordings.
I use a pair of Bose around-ear headphones to closely listen to my lines both while and after recording them.

Additional Skills

I send multiple takes in individual files organized by file name in folders, unless instructed otherwise.

Voice-work is both fun and taken very seriously, so I like to think that I send in my work rather quickly, depending on project size.
