Voice Description

My voice is extremely diverse and can be used in a wide variety of formats. My specialty would be character voices for animation but I have a rather deep voice that would sound great for a wide range of voice over jobs. I work well in a variety of English accents (British, Scottish, Irish, Australian, etc) but feel that my talent lies in my ability to create an extremely large number (I am talking hundreds) of character voices. I would be perfect for animated characters in any format (TV, radio, commercial, video game, etc.). I have both experience and training in acting, voice over technique, and studio etiquette and will work extremely hard on any job that may come my way. I am not afraid to try new things and have no fear of rejection. Thank you very much.

My Voice Experience

If having elaborate conversations with myself in a variety of voices while driving counts as experience, then I have a LOT of experience. However, if this last part counts more as being crazy and less as voice over experience then you can just disregard it entirely. If you are looking or REAL VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE then my voice over "career" began two years ago when three friends and I began recording a podcast. For roughly 60 episodes I would record a different voice, or even sometimes 40 different voices, for an intro to each episode. This experience allowed me to stretch my wings and explore the uncharted depths of not only my voice, but also my imagination. I created characters that will stay with me for my entire life. I recently auditioned for my first paid voice over work, which required me to perform Bible characters in a variety of English accents, and booked the job then and there.

My Training

In early 2009 I attended a 12 week voice over class at Santa Fe Center Studios in Albuquerque, NM, taught by Doug Geist. In this class I learned and developed valuable techniques for studio recording and voice development.

My Studio Equipment

I record on a Rode NTI-A Studio Condenser Mic and use a PreSonus Audiobox USB recording system. I currently use MixPad and WavePad as my editing and recording software. However, Adobe Audition will likely be my next purchase.
