I have various experiences in voiceover. I started by reading endorsement tags of local businesses for a local radio station in my hometown of Parsons, KS. As an editor I have worked with several VO actors and have recorded my own scratch tracks for various edit jobs.
I have lots of experience and a wide range of skills in the world of entertainment. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Animation and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film, giving me the knowledge and experience of the whole production pipeline. I have also taken voiceover lessons with Bruce Konenberg at Marla Kirban Voiceover in Manhattan, NY. Of course, doing voiceover is primarily acting. I have performed in several productions for local theater in Kansas, as well as participated in performances for fundraisers for local theater in Manhattan.
I work as an editor and animator, requiring me to have my own suite of software, as well as access to an editing bay complete with a sound recording station. I use Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Compressor, and Adobe Soundbooth. I can easily record and export sound files and upload or email to clients for immediate approval and feedback.
I am a very creative individual and try to have fun in everything I do. Through my experiences in animation, video production, and theater I understand the development of character, how to take direction, and how to study a script to find the perfect read and characterization.
