I have a very wide vocal range. I have a natural rich baritone quality, typically well-suited for corporate narrations, audiobooks, "neighbor you can trust" commercials, movie trailers, telephony applications, authoritative and dynamic deliveries, training, and documentaries.

I also have a high energy and comedic delivery applicable to humorous and dialogue commercials, fast/speed talking scripts and disclaimers, appropriate promos, and cartoon characters.

I am very willing to take risks beyond my normal voice-over capabilities and have been told by my primary voice coaches that this is an offering I should be presenting to clients and casting directors to help in diversifying their options.

I have lived in the Midwest, the Carolinas and Southern California. I have a chameleon like ability to "adapt to the indigenous dialects"

I am very capable of delivering traditional middle America, mid-southern, deep-southern, California casual, Spanish, Texan, New York/New Jersey and any combination of the above in a multi-actor or multi-voice context.

My Voice Experience

I have been fortunate to be in positions with employers, my own companies, or on a freelance basis to write and record my own commercials since approximately 1985.

I have produced/recorded a considerable amount of retail and medical commercials for television and radio.

As VP of Marketing for a regional midwestern hospital, I produced multi-media campaigns whereby I was the on-camera actor for television, the voice actor for all radio spots, and was regularly interviewed on-camera and in panel discussions promoting the benefits of the chemical dependency treatment center in the hospital I represented. The net results of these campaigns were substantially increased revenue, and more importantly many lives improved and in some cases saved from the terrible grips of alcoholism & drug addiction. This was incredibly rewarding.

My retail experience in writing and recording copy is very broad, includes traditional , and "over the top" radio deliveries and significant on-camera work.

My Training

My most recent training and coaching was provided by Sherri Berger, a nationally known voice coach, television and voice-over actor, narrator, and audiobook professional who has been active in the voice over business for over 30 years. She is located in Chicago, works all over the country on a regular basis, and is the founder of Voice Over University in the Chicago metroplex. She is an outstanding producer and, in fact, produced my commercial demo at Radio City Recording in Chicago

I attended San Diego State University and majored in mass marketing and speech communication - initially concentrating on a career in sports broadcasting or sports agency representation.

I have been a drama and vocal music student for many years and am applying all of my training to the voice-over industry. I also have a significant amount of public speaking experience all over the midwest. My audiences have ranged from middle & high school students, college students, all ages of athletes, churches, large industries, trade shows, and Veteran's hospitals.

My Studio Equipment

I have an in-home studio, utilize Pro Tools with a Digidesign MBox, running through an iMac, Rode NT1 Large Diaphragm Condenser microphone in house and several Neumann microphones available to me through a studio with whom I do business. I am in the process of acquiring Source Connect as well.


I can offer any client or casting director exceptionally quick turnaround.

During my career I have been passionate about superior customer service. I am equally passionate about the voice-over industry and the delivery of excellence in any recording project with which I am involved.
