1998 - 2007: Station manager of Radio Station KYKD in Bethel, Alaska.
Supervised all staff, operations, promotions, and programming of the station, host of the live morning drive time show, and management of the physical plant.
Format: Southern Gospel music and Bible teaching programs with the goal of promoting spiritual growth in the listeners.

1997 - 1998: Swing announcer for radio station WHKO (K99.1FM) In Dayton, Ohio.
Held a regular air shift on weekends and filled in for other announcers as necessary on both WHKO and WHIO. Format: Country

1984 - 1997: Program and Operations Director for The CDR Radio Network in Cedarville, Ohio.
Researched and recommended programming to the Network Manager and recruited, trained, and supervised the announcing staff. Part of the staff that took WCDR from a local station to a tri-state network service. Format: Inspirational Christian music and Bible teaching plus Christian lifestyle information.

1979 - 1984: Program Director for Radio Station WBCL in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Researched and recommended programming to the station manager, along with a regular afternoon drive-time air shift. Format: Christian music and Bible Teaching.

1970 - 1979: Production Director for Radio Stations WCMR & WXAX (now WFRN am & fm) in
Elkhart, Indiana.
Held a regular drive-time air shift. Also did local news, sports, and some farm reports, as well as supervising all commercial and promotional production.

My Training

BA in Speech from Cedarville College in 1967. 40+ years experience as on-air talent including lots of production and voice work for promotions and commercials. This has been supplemented with frequent voice work for radio program producers and advertising agencies.

I'm familiar with computer-based broadcast automation and Adobe Audition. I have Adobe Audition and an in-home recording studio.
