My Training

I attended Waid Academy in Scotland for my education whilst residing in Scotland. I attended the Scottish National Youth Theatre as a young adult. I was a Bluecoat (like a 'Camp America' Counsellor)in UK. I have been an amateur actor for 40 years or so (since I was 6) and gained my British Actors' Equity membership in 2000. My singing roles include everything from Grand and Chamber Opera to Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas and modern musicals to Sondheim (In a class of his own) most recently playing Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd.
Acting roles include pantomime (a British institution), straight plays, light comedy, to a number of Shakespeare Roles. My favourite is and always has been Macbeth.

My Studio Equipment

I confess I presently know little about audio engineering having in the past always used the services of professionals and their equipment. I currently use a ZOOM Handy Recorder H2 which can produce high broadcast quality recordings. I have access to quality studio-based recording systems but what they are ... I'd be guessing.

Additional Skills

I also direct for Amateur theatre, design and construct stage sets and generally live a life in the theatre. I am a semi-professional artist.
