I spent almost 20 years in the radio business, both in the US and in E. Asia, being an announcer and producer, and as a contract voice. I also have literally hundreds of satisfied industrial, educational, and promotional video clients.
In recent years, I've begun to specialize in long-form projects - training material and book-length narration. I can also provide copy editing services. Almost all very long scripts have (understandably) some errors, and fresh, experienced eyes can spot and correct them. Long-form projects are a different animal from short - they require a special degree of professionalism and staying power to complete, accurately and on-time.
My other specialty is complete production, with original music as well as library tracks and foley/sfx. There is a short sample of my music/sound design work in my demo area.
My formal education was in classical music (I trained to be a conductor), but I always loved theatre, expository writing, history, public speaking and radio. In addition to my radio career - which involved a fair amount of copywriting - I am a long-time composer for film and video, and an accomplished video editor.
I'm kind of a verbal generalist, which stands me in good stead when I do my voice work.
AKG 414 mic; various Sony mics; lots of hardware expanders/compressors; Digital Performer DAW software; Pro Tools; BIAS Peak; many plugins.
I can deliver a full range of audio material - from raw, unedited voiceover, to finished immaculate voiceover, to full production with sound effects and both library and custom music. I have a full video rig, and can synchronize to any video format.
