My Voice Experience

I have been working on my voice ever since I realized I could make it sound different. With characters of my own and the ability to transform the sounds from words to sound effects, I have used my voice in a number of ways. While in high school, I participated in musicals and plays, working on projection and tone. Through college, I developed various talents with my voice, creating wacky characters, clam/mellow narrative tones, voices of puberty and childhood, alongside various accents and moods.
Most of the things I have done are my own, doing narrations and songs for my own video and audio productions throughout college and afterward, but I recently realized that my talents could help me out in a professional way. Therefore, I have posted this paragraph on this site.

My Training

I have taken acting classes at local playhouses, worked through high school in musicals and plays, and participated in my college radio station.
I write and create my own music and narrative for video pieces I work on in my spare time, and have appeared in some student films.

Additional Skills

I went to Fairleigh Dickinson University and majored in Film/Video. taking that knowledge and combining it with my experience of being in plays, musicals, and other video related productions, I have to tools to assist myself in adjusting my voice in post, if the straight up tone doesn't work.
I have also been involved in radio productions, including my own radio show and producing my own music. I also worked as a keyboardist in a local band for two years until we broke up. This not only exposed me to the mixing and recording of the vocal and instrumental qualities of music, but educated me on behaving in the vocal profession.
