I have a rather extensive range. I am naturally a baritone - second tenor, but my voices range from deep bass to high falsetto. My voices are mainly either impressions of famous celebrities or political figures, warm and deep narrarators, rich and raspy for dramatic readings, fun and vibrant for upbeat commercials and everything inbetween.

I have a lengthy cache of accents from irish to hispanic and I speak some Spanish as well as English, but not fluently. I am perfect at Southern and Northern dialects as well as Brittish, Scottish, Ausie, German, Russian, African, Mid-Eastern and Asian.

My Voice Experience

I was in college to be a preacher, so there was a lot of public speaking I had to do. Podiums and mics are not unfamiliar to me at all. I have been recording my own skits and sketches since I was a teenager, as well as providing the entertainment at school, church, family funcitons and friends' get-togethers.

My Training

Straight A student in speech, grammar, English and drama in high school. Was nominated for and won "Most Humorous Interpretation" award at Tri-State College in Memphis, TN (now in Walls, MS) for my radio recording of "Mr. Rogers and the Bass Player." Learned timing, pitch and placement in speech and music classes. Also straight A student in speech 1 and 2, grammar and English in college. Performed countless introductions and announcements for Bethel Baptist Church and Tri-State College as well as humorous and dramatic sketches which I wrote, directed and performed. I've wanted to work in this career professionally ever since I was a kid.

My Studio Equipment

20' x 9' soundproof recording studio with 7.1 surround/14db background noise. Recording on Uni-directional V-Tech Dynamic Mic with Pop filter/Windscreen, Creative Labs X-Fi Audio Creation Software and mixer with noise-reduction and vocal fx.

Upgrading to a real studio soon.

Additional Skills

Excellent at reading prepared scripts, performing live and recorded. Excellent at writing my own material (mostly humorous and dramatic). Work well under direction and with others. Reliable, honest and dependable.
