Voice Description

I've been told over and over that I have a young 'radio voice.' My most popular is a soothing, contemporary voice. But, I've also done the fun, guy next door type. For IVR I have done the interactive 'natural' computerized voice as well as the dead, non-interactive dry read. I'm able to do weighty, or light narrations for documentaries or children related pieces. I pride myself on my improv past which makes me a very versatile voice actor.

Additional Skills

As mentioned above I trained as an improv actor at the Second City Chicago for five years and I went to college for writing. Both of these backgrounds have helped me enormously in assisting clients with their projects so they could achieve maximum satisfaction. I'm happy to provide as little or as much assistance as you'd like.

In addition the two areas above I worked for Apple Computers as a group teacher for two years. Having many students all of which were at different levels taught me to pace very specifically so that everyone learned something. Additionally, with the speed at which Apple releases new products, I had to keep my training very sharp, but also not be afraid to say 'I don't know.'

Finally, during my college years, I spent most of them in front of a camera performing sketch comedy on an Emmy nominated show, hosting my own Chicago-travel show, and anchoring a live broadcast of my college's annual celebration Manifest. I am a performer, through and through.
