Voice Description

I have a very versatile voice. My voice is pretty medium in range and soft to start but can get deeper or higher depending on your needs. I have the ability to mimic accents and people, ie. actors or other famous people. Whether it's the deep movie trailer or the Elmo like character, I can make it happen. I want to delve into as many genres as possible. I'm willing and able to perform radio/tv ads or the cartoon and video game voices. Or, if you just need a telephone systems recording, I can handle that as well.

My Voice Experience

I am excited to say that I am new to the world of Voice over work. When I was a child, I had the ability early on to mimic several cartoon characters and sounds I would hear on TV and radio. One day when I was in fourth grade, the Imagination Station came to my school and performed in front of over a hundred children and teachers. When asked if anyone in the gymnasium could make sounds, several kids pointed to me. I was thrown up in front of the crowd and proceeded with a perfect impersonation of Bart Simpson. The kids went crazy and the host immediately looked at me and told me that he could do Marge and that we should do a skit. We then performed a short skit about me (Bart) not doing my homework. From that moment on, I had always wanted to perform. I've done small skits in school, telephone messages and small voice projects here and there. Now, I'm ready to do anything and everything I can in this industry.

My Training

I went to college for International Business and received my degree at Southern University of Illinois Edwardsville. I've been wrapped up in the arts my entire life. I've always been fascinated by creating and replicating sounds and characters. I have been taking classes at local San Diego colleges for acting and voice over instruction as well as instruction from VoiceActing with James and Penny.

My Studio Equipment

I have a home studio with a Rode NT1-A microphone attached to an Mbox with ProTools, Garage Band and a MacBook Pro.

Additional Skills

I have the ability to send my clips with added music and sound effects via email quickly and efficiently. I am consistently working on honing my skills to improve my voice over skills.
