My Voice Experience

Jonathan Marshall is a Rock Tenor. He is classically trained and with his love for rock, he has taken both styles and has combined them to create the most powerful and theatrical voice. Jon’s versatile talents and classical/rock-faced artistic activity (Vitalij Kuprij alike) have brought him to sing with many other talented musicians and groups, including Widows Rose with Jason Ward currently with Flotsam Jetsam, Prodigy with George Bellas formally with MoggWay, UFO and Ring of Fire, Jeff Ward formally with Nine Inch Nails and Ministry, John West formally with Royal Hunt, Cozy Powell, Lynch Mob, Vitalij Kuprij of Artesian, Johnny Monaco formally with Enuffs Enuffs ,Palace Terrace with George Bellas.
Jon has been singing since the age of 5 and through years of voice training and practice, Jon has seasoned into a strong tenor vocalist, performing live with as well as studio. His range can extend from below a tenor, to as high as a soprano. His tone is clean, warm and direct, Jon exhibits total control with his vibrato and presence. Jonathan's voice has got the power to drive us up and raise our spirits. Marshall's wide vocal scale can stir up only positive emotions, and his majestic manner is the noble identification of him.

In Jon’s early twenties, he began giving vocal instruction and started teaching Voice control and breathing. Over the years, Jon has done much session work involving voice overs for broadcast commercials for Sprite Miller Beer, Lexus, Guitar Center and also other major corporations and networks. With Jon’s passion for theatre, opera and live music, he began to write and record with many great writers of the new era.

Jon Marshall is currently working on his first solo album and will be released in 2009, with Vitalij Kuprij, Rodger Staffelbach of Artesian and Angle of Eden, Tony Smotherman, Rod DeGeorge, Scott Walbridge, Pamela Moore of Queensryche,
he is also working with composer Christos Nikolaou and Mythodea, with John West, Vitalij Kuprij. Chris Gordon.

My Training

I have been trained by Rodger Marshall, father, have studied many styles and vocal approches used by some of the world best vocalist. I like performing arts, music, communications, media production, journalism, radio bits, comedy and sound-a-like.

My Studio Equipment

I am running Mac, with Logic Pro eith a direct input using an Apagee mic pre, AKG 414 mic, Groove Tube mic, Mackie monitors, endless plugins and skills.

Additional Skills

I am a Tenor Vocalist that has a strong commanding voice and also have the grace of soft and light.
