Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I like to try a variety of accents. I'm really good with the southern dialect since that is the region in which i live. One thing about southern dialects is that there are so many different styles from different regions in the south. There are differing dialects even in differing regions of Georgia. I can do silly voices, spooky voices, cartoony type voices. I like to play around with different voices from U.K./Ireland/Scot.
My Voice Experience
I've done many vocal recordings, but they were of me singing. I haven't yet had the opportunity to let my voice be heard, if you will, in anything else. I did emcee my high school class night and was a radio dj in college.
My Training
I am currently in my second incarnation as a student. I am studying to be a high school English teacher. I was a music major in my first incarnation as a student. I am currently self-employed as an electrician.
My Studio Equipment
I currently have a BOSS 8 track digital recorder that I record my music projects on. For mics I use Shure SM-57s and 58s.
Additional Skills
I am a musician and I play a variety of instruments. I enjoy writing and recording original material. I have also had some poetry published as well as a flash-fiction piece.
