Voice Description

My normal "money" voice is warm, natural, and friendly. It is kind of deep but not VERY deep, (more tenor then baritone). I can also go wry and sarcastic, or zany and crazy as well. My voice is centered on middle age, but can go from early 20's to very old.

My only language is English, but I can supply many different accents and characters including but not limited to American Southern, New York, Boston, American Midwest, Canadian, British proper, British cockney, Irish, Scottish, French, Russian, and Indian.

My Training

My formal voiceover training came from The Voice Factory in San Francisco where I learned from such luminaries as Taylor Korobow, CW Wolfe, and Denny Delk. I completed their masters program, and also programs in advanced character work and improvisation.

Before that, I was an on-air personality at KCSS, 91.9-FM, Turlock, the radio station for CSU Stanislaus. There, I was DJ playing mainly smooth jazz, and also an intern at KHOP-FM in Modesto.

Additional Skills

I've done extensive work with One Act Audio Theater, (www.oneact.org). We are a troupe of voice actors led by Glenn Carlson that reproduce old-time radio shows, and also create new audio theater productions. It is very rewarding work that allows us to hone our skills, expand our character repetoire, and have a blast doing it.
