Voice Description

My Voice Experience
I have worked on numerous projects from simple PSA's for domestic violence and Energy Efficiency to national campaigns for products such as Dr.Pepper and On the Border's restaurants. I have worked in animation as the narrator on an independent full length feature and also lent my talents to smaller roles in other animation projects. Most recently, I am quite proud of a project I participated in that allowed me to play 7 different characters in both English and Spanish for a new translation of the Bible stories. These translations will be put into the school curriculum at over 600 Catholic schools nationwide. It will allow children to read along with the stories as they hear my voice and others perform the different characters on CD. I am currently repped by one of the top voice over agencies in LA and audition quite regularly with them.
My Training
I am a graduate of the Acting Department at Florida State University where I worked with such actors as Fiona Shaw, Danny Glover, and Roger Rees. I spent 8 months in London during my junior year studying acting, voice and performance with professors from such places like The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Teatre de Complicite and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. So I am a very versatile actor who can bring a wealth of talent and experience to any project. I also worked as an assistant to a sportscatser in Virginia and was called upon in many occasions to provide voiceover for the highlights reel packages that summed up the week's sports highlights.

Additional Skills
I have worked numerous jobs before I finally became an actor so I have years and year of life expereince that I bring to my work. I have done many jobs in retail, sales, and production including customer service manager for a national electronics company, front desk receptionist for one of the Hilton Hotels, assistant manager for bookstores in Virginia and DC and also master control operator for a TV station in Virginia. I am quite driven to succeed and am no diva because I know the value of hard work and what it's like in the real world. I am thoughtful, compassionate, literate and understanding when it comes to the projects I work on. And I always leave the client feeling very validated that they chose me for their project.
