I've been a vocalist for music for about 7 years, recording on and off, a lot of live performances is acting, have to be audible and understandable while bouncing around attractively, though no real acting jobs but I am definitely ready and willing.
I was a news anchor in elementary school, did a few theatre productions in middle school, did a few award shows in karate and marksmenship, tried-out for a Lay's commercial, didn't have to speak though, just eat a chip, but did it in front of a camera in on set. From there went into chorus and voice training for singing.
I have no equipment but easy access to a recording studio with a full sound board and voice room with dampers and several different microphones with accessories like breath screens and reverb tunnels.
Being a vocalist in a band is a big advantage I believe because I know about pronunciation with added texture and characteristics, when to breathe and when to accent certain words, also sell the important parts. I am a 23 year old, Caucasian male, I'm not shy and I'm not too bad looking for on screen ;)
