My Voice Experience

I worked as a professional on air personality for a Classic Rock Radio station in the Mid-Ohio Valley. I produced commercials and public service announcements, promotional announcements for special events and programming as well as being an on air color sports announcer for one of the local high school football teams.

I was a tour guide for a sternwheeler/riverboat company on the Ohio River.

I have been in a few talent shows that showcased my singing abilities and I have had some acting experience in the community theatre.

My Training

I am currently working towards a B.A. in Philosophy and I have an A.A.B. in Broadcasting.

Most of my voice over experience came when I was working in radio in the form of on air announcing, producing commercials and PSA's and special programming.

Being in the theatre I had learned voice projection and breath control.

My Studio Equipment

I am currently using Pro-Tools LE 7.3 recording software with an M-box audio interface going to a Dell 5100 Inspiron laptop computer.

I use an MXL Condensor mic for my primary vocal parts and run them through the Focusrite mic pre-amps on the M-box.

I also utilize various other dynamic mics like the Shure SM-57 and SM-58 as well as a Beta 58 for other vocal/voice parts when needed.

I use Bomb Factory plug-ins and the stock effects that came with the LE software as well as Ableton Reason and Propellarhead G-Live production software. (In the process of upgrading from trial versions)

In July 2007, I released my debut CD "Shadows" in which I was the performer, producer and engineer on all the material. If you visit www.johnrandolph.com you can hear some of the tracks there as well as at my myspace.

I am a singer/songwriter in Oklahoma City and I am currently promoting my self produced debut CD "Shadows" that I had released this past July.

I have been performing live acoustic shows steadily since then in an effort to sell my CD's and to grow my own production company.

I have learned so much in the areas of marketing, advertising and public relations just in trying to promote myself as an artist.
