Voice Description

I've had a low voice most of my life, and I'm always mistaken to be older than I am. I love manipulating how I speak, taking advantage of my deep voice when on the phone. Acting, or reading things is a hobby of mine, although I haven't had an opportunity to become known with it. I could completely imagine myself in the character of a cartoon or an animated film, regardless of their personality. I'm witty, emotional, and can sound very serious when desired.

I also have a fairly wide range while still being able to speak well. From dire low, raspy and rough. To more light pitch directed at emulation of teens or kids.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I converse with people from australia and england very frequently and have picked up their accents. I can fake a british accent for humor, and understand slang of that area.

I can impersonate a lot of raspier individuals, changing from caucasion to ebonic dialect, using rough tone to my advantage, I can use a lisp well making it sound legitimate.

My Voice Experience

I've never had proffesional experience of any kind, although my entire life I've had a lower voice than usual and a fairly wide range, I've done announcements for auditoriums and colleges when I was around 15. I'm still very young but because of my voice I can be used in a lot of scenarios. I'm very eager for work and voice-relation impressioning or recording sounds like an extremely versitile job I would enjoy for many years. People that I work with first that help me become well known and more fluent with the voice-acting field are more likely to have my life-time participation because of comfort.

My Training

Regarding voice related training I have had none at all. I read out loud to people I know and that helps me practice and get used to taking the place of a character in a story, and using that emotion.

Regarding education, I have not completed High School nor do I have any degrees. I stopped attending formal public school in 11th grade because most people I knew aswell as myself felt it wasn't the best for me.

I have since purchased many books from colleges in the area, or from other states so that I can continue to study on my free time, and focus on things I excell in.

I'm currently reading and studying Cognative Science, and various Computer related fields on my own time.

My Studio Equipment

I have no equipment right now, and I don't really know what would be needed. I'm hoping as a start I can record elsewhere, or use my computer. I have a very nice laptop that has been suped up to support many things and I'm positive it would be a reliable source of recording if only for rough draft; aswell as editing.

Additional Skills

I'm extremely dexteritous, I played piano as a child very well, and I have a guitar I was hoping to learn to play. I type extremely fast because of my dexterity, this helps me communicate easily over different methods.

I'm considered a very personable and funny individual, often cracking jokes that are dry and subtle yet enough to be noticed. I can be very serious and have a great time at the same time. I'm not very social but I hope to work with that. I love conversing and debating.
