Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Irish, Bronx, New England, Texas drawl are accents I have done. I can mimic local politicians and sports figures, as well as several past Presidents. I can give personality to many animals in many situations, such as: excitied dog, angry dog, lazy dog, dog with a "diva" attitude, curious dog. Other animated characters I have done include an enthusiastic otter and an obnoxious peanut.I also can do the same emotions channeling other creatures (chimpanzee, elephant, turtle, squirrel, etc.). I have also been able to imitate several movie characters (Hannibal Lecter) to great acclaim.
My Voice Experience
I have done public address work for Philadelphia Parks and Recreation for over 20 years, as well as private contract work with the Philadelphia Marathon and the Phildelphia Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I have done both voice over and live presentations for trainings with Parks and Recreation and to a national audience regarding training for summer camp programs. I am the voice talent for the 2011 Philly Fun Fishing Fest, conducted by the Philadelphia Water Department. I am currently in training to expand my experience.
My Training
My degree is a Bachelor's of Science from Temple University in Public Recreation, in which Public Speaking was a required course. Also a required course was multi-media presentations. Have been taking classes with Voiceover Island, a studio ran by Chuck McKibben, a former producer for Mel Blanc.
My Studio Equipment
A computer based studio which includes: a BBE 382i Sonic Maximizer; A Behringer Autocom Pro-XL MDX1600/Composer; a Behringer Xenyx 802 Mixer; A Behringer B-1 Studio Condenser Microphone; and the necessary wires. Computer is a Compaq tower, with an HP vs17 monitor. Program I use is CoolEdit Pro 2.0.
Additional Skills
Public speaking, research and developement, skilled in drawing and caricatures ( helps bring characters to life and guide the voice type to the project).
