Voice Description

I am used to speaking in large and small public settings where projection is the key. I am also used to working in a studio where inflection is the key. My voice is warm and inviting, but can also generate excitement with increased pace and volume. I have little to no accent and speak very clearly and precisely. I would most closely relate my natural speaking voice to that of Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs), both in tone and in rhythm.

My Voice Experience

I have done voice-over work since I was 9 years old when I got my first tape recorder. It was a reel to reel and I think I filled that reel a hundred times over. I would read from magazines, joke books, comic books, even encyclopedias. Over the next several years I would hone my voice, from debate and speech classes in high school to college where I was in high demand from fellow students for various voice over projects.

I started my own DJ company (weddings, Christmas parties, etc.) and worked as a Karaoke DJ for several years.

Currently, I am the house DJ and events MC for a local club.

I am confident but friendly and warm. Those attributes come through in my voice. I am quick on my feet and don't stutter in real life situations, let alone in professional ones. Though my resume shows mostly MC-type work, I have experience in film-making (producing, directing, acting) and can take on different voice acting roles. I am a talent waiting to be discovered.
