My Voice Experience

I have extenive professional business experience in a profession that requires me to present seminars and workshops in a live setting to many people. This is my first introduction to the voice over industry, thus I don't yet have a body of work from which to draw. The only recordings I have made were webinars that are posted on Brainsahrk that relate to my particular specialty of financial advice.

My Training

I have two Masters degrees - an MBA and an M.Ed. I am a licensed financial advisor and as such have performed hundreds of seminars and workshops. Having been a classroom teacher for a few years I have extensive experience reading aloud, as well as instructing and entertaining elementary and middle school age children. This is my first foray into the voice over profession.

My Studio Equipment

I have the beginnings of an in-home studio with a Yeti USB Condensor mic, pop filter and boom stand. I process recordings with Audacity software on a fairly high powered Windows 7 computer.

Additional Skills

Having been ateaching and business professional for the past 25 years I have extensive experience speaking to all kids oif different audiences. People from all walks of life, socio-econmic backgrounds, ages and professional levels have heard me speak in person and digitally. I have performed hundred of seminars and workshops through the natural course of my profession. I have also had to engage and entertain a classroom of 25 9 yeard old children for 180 days a year. I am able to re-characterize my voice to suit any speaking occassion.
