My Voice Experience

I am new to voice-over work and am looking to get started as a supplement to my play-by-play duties. However, in my experience as a sports broadcaster I have written and provided voicing for several radio commercials, which were broadcast on-air. I have worked professionally for the North Shore Spirit in Lynn, MA., and currently the Kalamazoo Kings in Kalamazoo, MI.

My Training

Graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 1995, in which voice over techniques were a part of the curriculum.

B.A. from the University of Massachusetts/Boston (1989) with a psychology degree.

My Studio Equipment

I possess Audacity recording software on my laptop and desktop and have a corresponding microphone. I have experience in recording and saving audio files, saving as WAV and/or MP3 files, and transferring said files to iTunes. Can also burn CD's quickly and easily.

Additional Skills

I am a musician with experience in singing and playing guitar, keyboard related instruments, and banjo. Current orientation is towards sports and music, however, I have a keen interest in providing voice-overs for characters in animation and reading audiobooks.
