Voice Description
I have a wide range of emotions, tones and attitudes: warm and friendly for PSA's, energetic and intense for car spots, goofy and wacky for those offbeat commercials or TV animation, earnest and clear for corporate presentations. With all of these, I still concentrate on being able to cut through a mix to deliver your message.

My Voice Experience
I have recently worked on an interactive CD for a satellite GPS company and a corporate presentation for an all natural pesticide company. I have done voices for avatars for training videos and English translation voiceover for foreign executives. I am energetic and I do my homework on projects before the session, often visiting the company's web site for background information.
My Training
I have spent over 20 years working with and learning from some of the best voice over talent in the nation as a post production editor and talent director. I understand the importance of hitting the appropriate words to bring out the message to customers. I know very well how vital it is to be believable by using inflection and emotion to draw the customer in.
I have a bachelor's degree in Radio/TV Production with a split minor in Music and Speech. I worked in broadcast TV for 20+ years and I now operate my own audio production company, Sonic Boom Audio. I have had the pleasure of singing in a band and have taken both classical and contemporary singing instruction so I know all about breathing technique and the physical aspects of speech and diction.
My Studio Equipment
I have been using Pro Tools for about two decades and have won Emmy, Telly, Aurora and NY International Festival Awards for Audio Post and Sound Design. I have equipped my home studio with a Pro Tools HD rig and record using an AKG 414 mic. I can deliver audio through e-mail, FTP or Yousendit. I am also looking into SourceConnect.
Additional Skills
Each project is important to me. Each project is exciting and interesting - NOT just another J-O-B. I want to provide you with a great performance and more importantly, I want to provide you with a message that will drive customers to your storefront or web site. I am always a professional, take direction well, am adaptable, patient, knowledgeable and I just plain love working with people who are as passionate about what they do as I am about what I do.
I have come to a point in my career where I only want to do projects that are fun. By fun, I don't mean that every project has to be a laugh-riot. I mean that the people involved want to have fun doing what they're doing. If you take yourself really seriously and you often have to remind yourself to breathe, then you really shouldn't call me. Good luck on your project, whether you hire me or not!
