In 1983 John founded American Audio Workshop in Providence Rhode Island. The goal was to provide network quality production and talent locally to the Providence market. American Audio Workshop was wildly successful. In 1991 along with former award winning New York Creative Director Bill Comeau, John purchased Video Communications Resource which was merged with American Audio Workshop to become the leader in audio and video production in the Providence market serving clients both on a local and national basis. In 2000 the company was sold. John's partner Bill decided to retire and pursue his life long dream to become a minister. Bill is now an ordained minister In The United Church of Christ, and is Pastor of the Assonet Congregational Church. John Retired to California to be closer to his oldest son, a Director at a local LA television station. My Voice Experience

I have cast, produced/directed and preformed in literally 10's of thousands of projects. I am a seasoned professional. This has never been my job....It has always been my passion. I am a lucky and grateful man indeed.

My Training

At the age of 17 I began as a Production Assistant at a small radio station on Long Island. The first day there I was shown how to edit tape, we used razor blades back then. I discovered that I had this wonderful flair for editing. From there I developed an on air ability and over the next 6 years worked around the country as an on air talent. In addition, to on air work, in most situations I also held the position of Production Director for these stations. In 1974, I landed in Providence as Production Director for 2 stations owned by The Providence Journal. I remained in that position until 1983 when I founded American Audio Workshop.
