Voice Description

My natural voice is a relatively sothisticated Australian-accented soft sell presenters' tone. Being well-travelled, I can emulate other accents such as French, American (lived there once) South African, Irish Etc.

My expertise on Radio lies in a sharp interview skill. I can talk to most people about anything and sound authorative and well informed.
My radio voice is rather unusual but resonant and interesting with overtones of sincerity and certainly with a personable ring to it.

My Voice Experience

I started in the Entertainment undustry at 14 years of age as a musician and I have always played, sung or produced, and I am now in my sixties.
I have produced over 5 thousand Radio and TV audio tracks- most of which I wrote, voiced and engineered (many demos still available) mostly for AM and FM radio.

My Training

I have taught College graduates, classes and workshops, planned and presented seminares and public events but when I started in this industry, it was long before there probably was some type of certificate that covered the respective discipline/s.
My experience base is all "on-tape time"

Additional Skills

My general knowledge is extensive, I have lived or worked in 39 Countries, My knowledge of music (except for recent top 40) is encyclopaedic- especially Blues, Jazz, Soul and Country.
My engineering skills (Studio and acoustic design and general audio production and station operation) are good.
I am currently presenting breakfast on Australian Capital City FM radio but I am virtually retired, very bored and looking for new avenues of creative activity and as you may judge from these words, I am quite a good journalist.
