Voice Description

Most of the voice over work I have done has been quite monotonous, as it has largely been business related. This is NOT the only work I am open to, and I look forward to expanding my spectrum of experience. I am good at articulating words while speaking fast (or slow). I can change the tone of my voice to sound deeper or higher depending on preference. I can also do a British or Australian accent though it takes me a little longer.

My Voice Experience

I got started in voice work in mid 2006 at the Houston Area Safety Council. My duties included building power point presentations, and correcting training video/computer training program scripts for major chemical and oil companies, including Shell, Lyondell Citgo, BP Petroleum, Texaco, Chevron, Conoco, Exxon Mobil, Valero, and the Johnson Space Center. My work is still featured on many training programs at the Houston Area Safety Council, and at other Safety Councils across the U.S.

My Training

Most of my training in voice jobs consisted of simply listening and paying attention to voice work in television commercials, movie trailers etc., though I did receive some coaching from a professionally trained voice artist.
