Voice Description

For the last 20 years, I have been told by many people that I have a professional sounding, soothing, sexy voice. I work in a call center and often vary my voice in order to elicit comments. The reason I finally am making a contact is because one of the customers I spoke with made the suggestion that I do so, after identifying himself as working in your organization and suggested that I pursue opportunities.

I have a wide range, which is also able to be self-manipulated by the time of day, freshness of my voice and whether I am speaking directly or with/without a microphone or phone. I have the ability to speak slowly, normally or still clearly at a higher rate of speech. (not the ridiculously fast speed)

Comments have included that I can sound my age or half my age. I have lived in many parts of the country and speak with people on a daily basis from throughout the country, often being able to adapt my mode of dialect to theirs.

While I think I would be best suited for professional presentations, narrations or commercials, I also feel I could easily blend easily into just about any type of situation.

My Voice Experience

None. I am a raw talent who has used my voice to my advantage for years in direct and telephone sales. After taking early retirement from an insurance career, I am working in a call center to keep busy and use my voice talent. I am willing to be adventurous and investigate this other avenue.

My Training

B.S. degree in Psychology. Extensive classwork in Russian language and Communications. Have participated in public speaking since 5th Grade. Have always enjoyed reciting stories, poetry, etc. especially when there is an audience. Talk and sing to myself a lot, in different tones, pitches, etc.
