My Voice Experience

I am a television and radio meteorologist but don't hold that against me please! (ha ha)I have been heard presenting the weather on over 200 radio stations across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean but the most fun I have had was when I was the public address announcer for a professional hockey team in Tennesee recently. I enjoyed generating enthusiasm from the crowd at the games. My background in radio and television has allowed me the opportunity to produce P.S.A.'s, news teasers and voice-overs and I feel this is my true professional calling. I can say more than "partly cloudy and warm", and I appreciate the opportunity to let you listen to what this "hidden talent" can do.

My Training

Besides my 23 years of experience in radio and television, I am a sports enthusiast and have literally recorded myself doing play by play of sporting events for the fun of it. I did take a 6 month class in commercial television in Toronto years ago where I was taught how to pronounce, use proper inflection, breathing techniques and "smile, even when I am on the radio".

Additional Skills

I have produced station I.D.'s, voiceovers and teasers for radio stations in the past and always envied the "booth announcer". (I know, who grows up saying "I want to be the booth announcer") I walk around all day saying "This...is CBS". I would really enjoy reading books on tape, or narrating a documentary or company training video.
