Voice Description

I would say that I'm capable of making my voice sound strong and professional for radio and TV voice overs or recordings, due to the fact that's what most of my experience has been in the last fourteen years. And, depending on the type of commercial, say a commercial for a concert, I can make my voice hyped up for excitement but I can also become very serious and remorseful if it were a spot for a drunk driving PSA.

My Training

I am currently finishing my degree at Oklahoma Christian in Liberal Studies which is a concentration on Broadcasting, Family Studies and Bible. It started out as a Broadcasting degree but I switched to Liberal Studies to graduate quicker because of my duties to my family. But, most of my skills have been learned in the field of broadcasting. I've learned most of what I know through experience. I started in broadcasting at a little radio station in Key West, Florida called Island 107 in 1992 and I haven't gotten tired of Radio since then.
So, most of my voice over work has been involved with doing spots for the stations that I've worked for in my broadcasting career.

Additional Skills

In addition to radio I have done some local TV work in here Norman, though it was from late 1996 to the fall of 1998. I was a news host for a local metal video show. I have also done many, many interviews with Christian music artists throughout my years of broadcasting.
