My Voice Experience
I had Voice-Over training with Jordan Rich. While in the training, I did spots for Lowes, the Apple Mac book, LL BEAN, Subway and a news 15 spot. I also learned Voice-Over Lingo, breathing tips microphone technique and feedback on how to read Voice-Overs in general. I did all this in April and May of 2013.
I graduated from Suffolk University with a BS in Journalism/ Public Relations. While there, I took a variety of courses including News Writing, Public Speaking, Theater arts, Organizational Communications, Mass Communications and Business Communications. I am currently writing for the Matilda Ziegler Magazine For The Blind. I also have a Human Service degree from Bunker Hill Community College.
My Studio Equipment
I have a Laptop Computer with a Snowball Microphone and Sound Forge Studio along with headphones.
Iam currently working at an Internet radio station called Radio Perkins doing tags and discussing alumni issues at the Perkins School For The Blind
in Watertown, Massachusetts. in addition,
I am a feature writer for the Matilda Ziegler Magazine For The Blind. In the Past, I also was a feature writer for The Quincy Patriot Ledger and the Woburn Advocate.
I also did Proofreading at The Massachusetts Association For The Blind & Visually Impaired in Brookline, Massachusetts. I also Worked at JLG Technology categorizing and listening to prisoner's phone calls. I was also the Chairperson for the eastern Massachusetts Transit Authority. In this capacity, I conducted monthly meetings and arranged for guest to speak on a variety of topics in regards to transportation.
I would be willing to do Voice-Overs about blind organizations. I would also like to do commercials in regards to stores, businesses or non-profit organizations. I am also opened to other projects as well. This would include religious projects.
