Voice Description

I can make my voice do many different things. I can make it goofy and "overly jolly" to get that specific guy's role. I have had experience in plays doing an elderly man's voice, and I have been told that it is rather good (and funny at times).
Also, my singing voice is a unique voice that I would describe as a cross b/w classical and pop. I have about a 2.5 octave range, that tops at about an F sharp above middle C.

My Voice Experience

Musical theater! My two prize parts were the Beast/prince in a production of Beauty and the Beast, and Daddy Warbucks in Annie. The adjective used to describe my performances more than all others was "impressive." My school was known for music, theater, and art; and the competition to get such parts made me very proud to have.
I have also done small community and Church productions where I have played such parts as an ornery old man, a super-cheerful newscaster, and a stuck-up and spoiled city boy.

My Training

I am still in college with no real voice-over training. I have been taking vocal performance lessons for almost 2 years now, and I have been in many different productions for the past 8 years.
I am currently training under the instruction of a very well-trained and renowned vocal classical performer, and I will be taking an acting class next semester, as well.

Additional Skills

I have grown up in a very rural part of western New York, and sometimes I am completely surrounded by "hick" accents and mindsets, which I have spent some time observing and mimicking.
I have spent much time over the past few years greatly training in order to sing as best as I possibly can. I love it more than anything else, and the passion I have for singing and performing is comparable to nothing else.
