My Voice Experience

I am not new to using my voice, but fairly new to voice over as a career. In the past 2 years, I have been a play by play or color commentary for over 75 rugby games for USARUGBY and Glendale Rugby - games can be found on their websites. I have written and voiced 60 minute highlights shows as well as voicing billboards, ads and and packages for this burgeoning sport. My broadcast work has been on ESPN Classic, ESPNU, Fox Sports Rocky Mountain (and picked up by other affiliates), MediaZone (web-based), USARUGBY Networks (web-based).
I am seeking to expand my horizons in voice over and broadcast as I move forward. My experience and professional attitude are my best asset.

My Training

I come at the voice career with a different angle and path. Every employer in my career has had me as a voice of the company. Presentations, representing the company at trade shows, voicing ads and commercials, performing broadcast duties as an aside from a job, and even voicing a phone system have been at the forefront of my work. A former firm of mine routinely requested that I represent the company for heavy engineering projects I had not worked on, based on my ability to express myself, and express myself publically.
I recieved a BA in Political Science and a Paralegal Certificate from Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY) in 1992.

I have also worked in the area of scripting show flows for live shows and scripts for highlights shows. Along with this I have been involved in post-production work.
I come from a long background in writing and creation including technical writing, newseletter creation for business and more light-hearted fare, and proposal writing and editing. Voice, presentation, and writing skills have always been my strongest assetts.
