Voice Description

I love voice-over work - and voice acting. "Warm and fuzzy" comes very naturally, but I also enjoy doing comic/comedy work, especially if it's well-written. Sarcasm comes easily. Over-the-top hyped sales spots can be fun, but I'm also the guy most often selected when the script is written at 45 seconds and needs to be read - and still be understood - in 30. I love to do accents, but it seems most of the work for accents in today's industry are done by people who naturally possess those accents, so accented work which comes my way is usually of the comic variety.
Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are fun to impersonate, as is former President Bill Clinton. Character voices not based on actual people are also fun to do.

My Voice Experience

I'm a 26-year veteran of radio broadcasting, mostly as a morning show host, and have voiced national TV and radio commercials, TV promos, TV show intros, corporate videos, websites, and tons of local radio promos and ads.
Some of my more notable past work includes Paramount pictures / Viacom (national radio ads and Toronto Film Festival voiceovers), eBay (national radio - multiple campaigns) and Storck / Reisen candy (TV campaign). I have also done a number of VOC TV commercials at the local level.

My Training

I'm the kid who - while jamming with my rock band in someone else's basement - always had other people tell me, when I spoke into the microphone - "You have a great voice. You should be in radio." So, I completed a radio program at a Tech Institute when my band broke up, and two years later I was the host of the #1-rated morning radio show in a medium market city. I'm currently both a radio and voice professional in a major market.
