In high school, college & my work life, whenever I'm in any kind of learning group, I'm usually asked to read out loud for everyone.
I read to my nieces & nephews all the time.
(i have 19 of them...)
I've done voice work in video games upon request.
I've also done voice work in several animated projects for friends in art school.
Almost everyone I speak to tells me my voice is very distinguishable. How I found out about this site-- I was in a pizza parlor telling a story to a group of locals about a wild & crazy weekend I had. There was a man sitting on the other side of the pizza parlor in a booth, talking on the phone.
He kept looking in my general direction. I noticed the last two times he glanced, we made eye contact. He then got off the phone and approached me in front of everyone. He proceeded to tell me about this website & how I really should consider voice acting work...
"You have a voice that draws attention & it makes people interested in what you have to say."
...so here I am.
I have friends that work in audio & they've asked me to do voice overs for animated projects & video games.
I read lines well enough to make you feel what I want.
