Voice Description
I have a warm, friendly voice. I use a variety of approaches including a casual Rick Steves-style delivery for travel pieces, youthful character voices for radio spot production, and strong reads for radio imaging packages.
I am also effective with authoritative, confident and "expert" voices both in character and for narration/documentary. I have a long track record in voice work for training and instructional media, news features, and documentaries.

My Voice Experience
I've worked in radio and television production since 1987. My experience includes spot production, and documentary voiceover for the American Forces Network, the Pentagon Channel, Navy Media Center and Far East Network. I have done voice work in Japan, Iceland and Korea. My voiceover experience includes travel features, instructional video for military bases, and radio spot production for a variety of stations in the midwest.
My Training
I am a graduate of the Defense Information School in Fort Meade, MD. My training includes Voice and Diction, Broadcast Production and Broadcast Management.
My Studio Equipment
I have a Mac-based home studio and run Cubase, Final Cut Pro and Audacity with a Lexicon Omega. I am a musician as well as a voice artist and record a variety of projects. My mics include the Sennheiser MD421 II, SM58, and M-Audio Luna. I record all sources dry; I run effects, compression and other enhancements in post. I have a music library and can produce my own production beds and sweepers when requested.
Additional Skills
I am a full time freelancer and have a flexible schedule. I am available for a wide range of work and specialize in short-notice, quick turnaround projects.
