Voice Description

I have a voice that avails itself to a number of characters from a friendly elf to a henpecked husband to hard sell narration. I do a number of accents and have dabbled in Russian and Spanish as well as my native English. I am quite skilled at manipulating sounds and sound effects, creating a picture in the listener's mind that leaves a pleasant after-effect. My soothing smooth voice lends itself well to jewelry and upscale car spots, industrial narrations, women audiences, health care and insurance pieces in particular.

My Voice Experience

Founder of the nearly 20 year old Sounds Creative Digital Recording Studios , I have been a major market commercial radio production director in the mid-west, south and eastern United States since I graduated from UNC. With over 20 years in broadcasting and over 50 awards on the walls, I have done it all. Almost a decade in the Detroit market, the voice of ABC, New York CLIO award, writing copy, producing, voicing, editing, jingles, talent/producer and air personality, I do everything audio. A native of Charlotte, NC, I am back home at the LINK and WBTV, Channel 3 in Charlotte, NC, also working with Media Link, Muzak and Indigo Design. My Training

After graduating with my BA in English from UNC, I went on to obtain my Broadcasting degree. I spent some time teaching at CSOB, but nothing beats a great imagination, great equipment, deadlines, presssure and passion to pump out quality work that my peers have agreed rocks. This month set a record for sales, $1.1 MILLION for the MONTH. That's a lot of production. In the 7 years I have been working for Muzak, I have produced 45,000 pieces for them. The numbers boggle my mind. I don't notice. There are always sounds.
