My Voice Experience

I have experience with any style of voice work imaginable.
I have a very polished sound for each one of my styles. I have been a production director in radio for 5 years. I have been a radio talent for 10 years.

I have, and have had contracts as a voice-talent and voice-actor with concert promoters, power and sport outfits, car dealerships, health service providers, and with video production companies.
I have extensive experience in writing, voice-overs, editing and producing commercials of all sounds.

I have a talent for getting the intended feel of a script and voicing it to perfection

My Training

I started in voice over work by chance. I was getting my start in small market radio, and the sales people soon realized I could voice their commercials better and with more adaptability than most of the veteran broadcasters...who had fallen into the same old radio-ad sound with every ad they did.

Years later I took a job as a production director. I had a limited bank of voices, so I quickly learned to do any style that was requested of me. I left that radio station, and many of its clients contacted me and said they needed my sound: as it had become their branding sound.

For the first time I was getting paid for
voice-over jobs. I have been doing it ever since, to supplement my income in radio.

I have also been a musician since I was 15 years old. I am a professional harmonica player.

I have years of experience in every
step of the voice over process...from
conception,to writing, voicing, to editing
and multi-track production.

I have also trained radio and non radio personnel in the voice-over arts.

My Studio Equipment

I have multi-computer home, and office studios with synheiser microphones, Adobe audition digital recording and editing, email and internet capabilities, multi-channel mixer-consoles, plus extensive sfx and music bed libraries.

Additional Skills

Being in radio and production, I am constantly within ear-shot of great advertisements. I have been on the air in a studio for 10 years, 6 hours a day. I am always listening to ads and making myself better with every new ad I hear!!

My experience as both a voice-over talent, actor, and as a producer, gives me an objectivity to the way I voice jobs...that most voice talents do not possess.

My versatility in using my voice has put me many times in major market ad campaigns.

I have the skills and knowledge to create whatever sound is desired, for any type of recording: commercials, narration, on hold messaging, voice mails, tv and radio ads.
