My Voice Experience
I did a series of promos for locally televised high school football games on Charter Communications.
I did two commercials for U-Save Auto Rental, a car rental company that rents vintage automobiles.
I did voicemail phone prompts for Access Courier, a local delivery service in St. Louis.
I had a small speaking part in "The Screener's Court," a film produced by the Media department at Webster University. The film was intended as a project and not commercially released.
My Training
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from Webster University in St. Louis. While at Webster I took classes in audio and video production and photography. I also took a class for voice talent taught by Tim Snay, who has appeared in several feature films including Steven Soderbergh's "Ocean's Eleven" and "Traffic" and various locally produced St. Louis ads and features.
I was one of the founding members of WEBU-AM, the Webster campus radio station, where I hosted a 1 hour Saturday night show featuring blues and jazz. I also had an internship at KDHX-FM, a local public radio station. At KDHX I engineered various talk programs, announced tags at the ends of commercials and public service announcements, and helped set up remote broadcasts.
My Studio Equipment
I do not yet have my own studio but I am able to go to Clayton Studios here in St. Louis and produce voice work.
Additional Skills
I have training in writing copy for commercials and narration. I have also been trained on how to vocally bring to life a script or written copy through inflection.
In other jobs I have experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel as well as Photoshop and Pagemaker.
