Voice Description

I can carry out a number of different straight voice styles, particularly warm and polite.
One of my other main voices is a slightly tongue in cheek and well spoken english or american accented style.
The bulk of my repertoire is dynamic and fun voices for cartoons/animation, as well as creature and monster voices for film and video games.

My Voice Experience

As I am very new to the whole voice acting industry, so far I have had very little direct experience.
However my background is in music and so I have recorded voice work for musical projects from 2004 until the present day, both in home studios and highly expensive professional ones.
Most of my previous work consisted of singing as well as spoken word and dark character voices; demons, ringmasters, hissing serpent creatures, evil monks and people possessed by the spirits of dead composers. You know, the usual...

My Training

I attended a voice actor overview course from January - February 2009, held by Outsource Media who specialise in video/computer game voice acting. One of the teachers was Jay Simon, a highly experienced voice actor currently with Yakkety Yack who are one of the top voice agencies in the UK.

My Studio Equipment

I have a very basic set up at home with a Shure microphone and cubase software, where I am able to record good quality demo recordings on demand.

Additional Skills

Aside from the aforementioned music projects that I was involved in, I have over 20 years experience of stage acting. I have mainly been involved in stage musicals for amateur dramatic productions, as well as circus/freak show themed music based stage shows.
