Sultry comes to mind but most importantly producers are able to cut production costs on cold reads because Grier is able to interpret the script professionally and in great character - coming away with a solid read in just one or two takes. Grier's voice is easily recongizable - new friends, colleagues and business associates all confirm that there was - and still is - no doubt who is calling you on the phone the second time he calls. He pulls a humorous latino, french and asian accent, along with three very funny animated characters that could be the voices of tomorrows cartoon mania.

The perfect magic of his vocal mastery comes when he does car commercials, night club advertisements, news announcements, NFL game day promos and narration for movie commercials and trailers.

My Voice Experience

Joe Grier has worked on 27 national projects since making himself available as a national voice over narrator. His list of accolades include, NFL Films, The Academy Award Winning Nominated Movies' international CDROM project - AMISTAD, K-MARK Superstore's Headquarters in Atlanta, Industrial Bank in Washington DC and a national Department of Education project CHOICES produced by the Meridian Education Corporation for libraries across the country. When consumers wanted to sue Don King and they needed a voice to publicly announce the famous "ear biting" theasco - Joe Grier was the person called to do the voice over for the project. Currently he has four different media companies looking to use his voice for their clients phone mail systems - covering 12 major markets in the United States of America.

My Training

Grier studied communications/Public Relations at Mansfield University where he did four years as an on air personality for radio station WXMU - Mansfield University (where he created, promoted and was the on air talent for 3 shows). WNBC and WIZZ in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania also hired him and allowed him to be a guest announcer and air personality, sitting in for market moguls like Tobey Young and Olin Harris who trusted their listenership with his voice. Grier graduated from MU with a degree in Public Relations and an minor in Journalism - but his experience on air gave him the foundation he needed to prosition himself as one of the top upcoming voice talents in the country
