My Voice Experience
In my 25 plus years doing voice work, I have worked for most of the major ad agency's across the country, won two Clio's and now, with the contact's available on the Internet, continue to add to my client base. My voice has been heard on the Disney Channel, HBO, Travel Channel, PBS, Commercials for Hyundai, Exxon, Continental Airlines, World Energy Forum, Wal Mart, Cellular One, Basset Furniture, Texas Tourism, Vegas Tourism, Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino as well as corporate narrations for Nabors Drilling, Hallibuton, Microsoft, Reliant Energy, Blockbuster Drivers Ed Course, AARP Driving Course, Waste Management, Shell. Locally, I estimate I've voiced over 2,500 radio and tv commercials for a myriad of clients from hard sell to laid back guy next door types.
My Training
I graduated from high school and completed two years of college. My early years were spent in broadcasting as a top rated air personality with KNUZ,KILT, KIKK, KENR, KRBE, KFMK & KLDE. I was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2003. My voice over career began when I was a sales rep for top rated KILT in Houston. While I waited to see media directors at the various agency's, I would hang out with the creative types. This gave me insight into what commercials they were developing and I would volunteer to do their spec spots. Normally, they were so happy with the demo's I did, they retained me as the voice talent for the finished product.
