My Voice Experience
I began in college radio with news, radio, sports.
Moved on to regional market work with commercial voiceovers, TV and radio image breaks, corporate TV narrations, on-camera spokesperson roles.
I have worked for sound studios, production houses, radio and TV stations, and ad agencies.
I have provided voices for automated phone recordings, podcasts, and a variety of other applications.
Clients have included major corporations such as General Motors and Ford , and Fox-/CBS-/and NBC-affiliated TV and radio stations.
In addition, I have extensive experience as a producer and copywriter, giving me a well-rounded view of the business and how to satisfy a variety of clients.
I am very easy to work with, take direction well, and am committed to high-quality production.
My Training
I have been involved in the study and practice of communications since high school, where I was a top orator and radio news performer in competitive speech events.
I graduated from a private university where I majored in Radio and Television Production and received a Masters degree in Communications. I was a frequent stage performer in student productions and Shakespearean plays. In addition, I worked regular "music and news" shifts on the college radio station. After graduate school, I taught speech and radio fundamentals clases for a few years.
My "real world" voiceover experience began in a small-to-regional market setting. I freelanced for many studios, radio/TV stations and production houses, working with some of the best talent in the region and learning the ropes from senior-level producers.
Later, I studied with a voiceover coach and continue to hone my craft.

Additional Skills
Intimate knowledge of copywriting adds to my natural sense of timing and flow.
I am willing to work hard and do as many takes/nuances as necessary -- but clients often approve a read after 1-2 takes.
I am a good natural reader, concentrate well, and can remember/replicate direction as it occurs in the session.
