My Voice Experience

I began doing voice overs on local radio at the age of 9. My first experience was doing Mickey Mouse as a promo for a Disney production coming to town. I performed for 20 years as an impersonator, doing shows and clubs. During this time, I also recorded radio ads and voice overs for corporate videos. I was the owner/manager of my own A/V Production Company called Vide-Mac Productions for 15 years. I have 30 years theatrical experience and have both performed in and directed theatrical productions. I have been an on-air talent on radio and television both in college and as a stringer for WMC-TV in Memphis. I have also done play-by-play coverage of athletic events for local radio.

My Training

I have a degree in broadcasting from the University of Mississippi. I have taken classes at the university level in theatre, speech, and oral interpretation of literature. I have had 5 years of professional voice training in music.

Additional Skills

I have enjoyed bringing vocal projects to life for almost 40 years now. It is so exciting to be able to breathe life into words on a piece of paper. I love developing characters and allowing those characters to add their own personalities to a project.
