Voice Description

I have a warm, intelligent voice for technical narration and non-fiction, and various ages and character voices for childrens books through adult fiction. I can also use my voice in a breathier, deeper voice for advertising anything decadent (from selling a chocolate bar to narrating erotica.) I can sing in a manner that is upbeat and fun, or sexy and intelligent, without sounding overdone.

My main accent is mid-west or neutral American English, although I can pick up other regional accents as required. I have silly, Elmo-like characters voices great for animation and children's stories, especially "cute" young characters. I can pronounce French well and translate French text to English (I do not understand French well enough to be fluent in conversation.)

My Voice Experience

I have worked as a hired vocalist to record lead and backing vocals and play and arrange piano/keyboard tracks for various music groups. I also have experience reading books on tape for the blind and dyslexic.
