Voice Description

I've been told many times that I have a great voice for voice-talent work - that it's clear and articulate, happy (even perky); that it is a pleasant, friendly voice, conversational yet persuasive. In phone work, strangers often tell me that I should be a voice-over artist! A lifelong California native, I speak only English.

My Voice Experience

Once recorded all the phone-system out-going messages for a company I worked for ("Thank you for calling. . . For Accounting, press one; for Customer Service. . . ") Typically the first choice among staff to answer incoming calls, because of my voice "presence". Looking forward to adding much more experience to this section!

My Training

No actual professional training, but spent many hours watching my Dad (a Grammy-nominated scoring mixer for Glen Glenn Sound Co., on the Paramount Studios lot) at work recording and mixing soundtracks (mostly scores, but plenty of voice and over-dub work).

My Studio Equipment

Using Magix Music Maker Deluxe 2003 for recording/editing; also have access to Fostex VF80 24-track digital recording studio.

Additional Skills

Countless hundreds (thousands?) of hours of telephone work (reception, sales, customer service, etc.), being told regularly for many years that I'd make a great voice artist! Try me!
