My Voice Experience
As a stay-at-home mom, I first became interested in doing voiceovers in 2007, when I was looking for additional volunteer work. I contacted the Radio Reading Network, an organization that provides reading services to the blind. Every Monday I read an hours' worth of section A from the Baltimore Sun (a Baltimore newspaper). Then I was asked by the same organization to do an audiobook. I read the Mermaid Chair, written by Sue Monk Kidd. I really enjoyed my volunteer work and decided to pursue this as a career.
My Training
I recently completed voiceover training with John Burr of John Burr Productions (in Bethesda, MD and Saratoga, Fla). This took about a year to complete and I now have a demo CD.

Additional Skills
I am very prompt and dedicated to whatever work I am doing.I am somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to my work, although I am normally pretty laid-back in my non-work life. I have been told that I am an excellent cold-reader, have great comprehension and virtually no accent. I enjoy doing voiceover work because it satisfies my creative needs.
